Treatment guidelines
Before Your Session
A few simple steps help us give you the best results. Most of these you're probably already doing!
✓ Avoid getting a sunburn on the treatment area—regular sun exposure is fine, just no active burn
✓ Arrive with clean, dry skin (we'll cleanse the area prior to treatment, but starting clean helps)
✓ No lotions, oils, makeup, or deodorant on the treatment area the day of your appointment
✓ Shave the area the night before or morning of (don't wax—shaving only)(does not apply to eyebrow treatments - do not shave your eyebrows off)
✓ Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to treatment
✓ Eat something before your appointment
✓ Skip aspirin and ibuprofen for 24 hours before (they can increase bruising)—Tylenol is fine
✓ Wear comfortable, loose clothing that gives easy access to the treatment area
After Your Session
ou may have some redness, mild swelling, or tenderness for a day or two, similar to a mild sunburn. Some people develop small blisters or light scabbing as part of the healing process—this is your body doing its job.
